Falling for Fiction and Double Trouble Giveaway

A few months ago I received a group e-mail from my lovely critique partner Cassie Mae. You have all met her from my CP interviews a month or so ago. Or from everywhere else she is on the internet. That girl is an animal. Cassie wanted to know if all of her CP's would be OK with her posting our critique comments. Somehow that 1 question turned into a marathon group email chat. Fast forward a week or so and another group email is sent out by Cassie, (I think she was celebrating getting her first Full request.) and another marathon email fest ensued. I think we broke 100 emails in a day. 

Since then these four ladies have become the biggest support system I could EVER ask for. Not only do they critique my MS/Query/Synopsis but they make me spit my drink on my computer on a daily bases.

(I would like to give a shout out to others that support me-Megan, Cristina, Emily and Jo you guys are a HUGE part of my support system as well!!!!!)

So through all the back and forth emails someone (I think it was Jade) suggested we do a group blog. And Falling for Fiction was born. Our goal with a group blog? Doing exactly what we do in our group email sessions. Support writers in any way we can. We want to do all of the fun stuff. Blog hops, Query Sessions, Rejection Parties... Anything that might help the writing process more fun and bearable. Will there be mountain dew fountains? Why yes, there probably will be. Will it more of the same stuff that we put on our personal blogs? Sometimes. But we wanted to do something fun and try to be helpful at the same time. 

We are launching this group blog on April 1st. Yep, you got it. April Fools Day.

Now for the Double Trouble Giveaway.  

I am hovering very close to the 200 followers mark. And my fellow FFF (Falling for Fiction, not bra size) buddy, Kelley Lynn, has just hit 200 followers as well. So in honor of all you fabulous people AND the kickoff of Falling for Fiction we are doing a giveaway. I am giving away your choice and the following books: The Eleventh Plague by Jeff Hirsch, Playing Hurt by Holly Schindler or Best Friends by Martha Moody. Kelley is giving away $10 toward any book you want.
